From e821a360df95877f346307d8690913357bea49d7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Dudemanguy Date: Thu, 2 Oct 2025 10:56:27 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] github/workflows: reduce timeout for BSD builds Sometimes the VMs that these run in spin forever so it's good to have some timeout. 30 minutes is way longer than what we need. When these are successful, they complete in under 10 minutes (especially freebsd which is very fast). If we're at the 15 minute mark, the VM is stuck spinning forever so just abort. --- .github/workflows/build.yml | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/build.yml b/.github/workflows/build.yml index f3129b7c48..2b6bc365f1 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/build.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/build.yml @@ -427,7 +427,7 @@ jobs: openbsd: runs-on: ubuntu-latest # until https://github.com/actions/runner/issues/385 - timeout-minutes: 30 # avoid any weirdness with the VM + timeout-minutes: 15 # avoid any weirdness with the VM steps: - uses: actions/checkout@v4 - name: Test in OpenBSD VM @@ -473,7 +473,7 @@ jobs: freebsd: runs-on: ubuntu-latest # until https://github.com/actions/runner/issues/385 - timeout-minutes: 30 # avoid any weirdness with the VM + timeout-minutes: 15 # avoid any weirdness with the VM steps: - uses: actions/checkout@v4 - name: Test in FreeBSD VM
