Since the previous commit normalized playlist filenames when they are
stored, the code normalizing them can be simplified back to how it was
before implementing normalization.
We should have done this ages ago. These commands essentially consist of
a combination of a load action and whether or not playback should be
started. The old `-play` aliases are kept for backwards compatibility.
playlist-remove has a required index argument, as indicated by the
documentation. However, in 332907e1d7
MP_CMD_OPT_ARG was mistakenly added, making it optional.
The effect of not specifying the argument is defaulting the index to 0
and always removing the first element in the playlist, which is not
expected.
Fix this by making the argument required.

handle_force_window() is called in play_current_file() and
run_playloop(), so it is never triggered if you do mpv --idle and then
change force-window at runtime. Move the playloop call to the option
callbacks to fix this.
Fixes https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/discussions/16956.
Giving the UPDATE_VO flag to --force-window would not fix this due to it
having no effect if there's isn't already a window, which prevents the
bug described in 544240c829. It would also reinit the VO unnecessarily
when cycling between force-window yes and immediate.
A demux_flush can cause corruption and a slight A/V desync, whereas
without it the angle will simply change on the next keyframe, as is
intended for seamless branching. If users want an instant angle change
they can still restart playback and seek to the current position
through Lua.
Currently, screenshot being scaled and the presence of OSD and subtitles
cannot be independently controlled. This adds osd and scaled flags to
screenshot commands that make it possible to e.g. take screenshots with
only OSD without subtitles, or take screenshots at scaled resolution
without OSD or subtitles.
The "window" flag is now an alias of scaled+subtitles+osd, and is kept
for convenience.
Since 38ad1ed03b path is normalized but stream-open-filename is not,
making the docs where it says that they are the same wrong, so normalize
stream-open-filename too.
There's no reason for the string to live forever for the lifetime of
mpv. We can free it when we're done. Calling the current-watch-later-dir
property could technically grow memory forever previously.
Upgrade tablet input to first class citizen similar like
touch input, but more simple since use case for now is
mouse emulation only.
Keep state for coordinates and in-proximity.
Introduce property for disabling tablet input.
Introduce Client-API property `tablet-pos`.
c7c09fdb8b made frame step with seek flag
ignore key ups. However, for commands with emit_on_up flag set, which can
happen with mouse buttons, command should only be triggered on key ups.
This results in frame-step command with seek flag triggered on mouse down
instead of mouse up, and frame-back-step command not working with mouse.
Fix this by making sure that step is triggered depending on the emit_on_up
flag.

This relaxes what bbac628a1b introduced.
Although it is rare, there may be scripts out there that depend on the
old timing. We'd still like to process config files in a sane manner and
not cause OOMs so keep the general coalescing mechanism in place but use
it selectively. There is one special case with the --input-commands
option. We want this coalesced as well so some special handling needs to
be added for that.
It's not actually possible to truly know the hwdec-current value until
after this event is successfully signalled. Add some special handling to
the pretty printing of hwdec to delay it until we get the video reconfig
event in command_event and then do the pretty print there if
appropriate.
a3823ce0e0 made this request a special
case because of all the threading considerations. Unfortunately, the
implementation made it so that VDCTRL_GET_HWDEC always would return
CONTROL_UNKNOWN when using mp_decoder_wrapper_control. This didn't
matter because VDCTRL_GET_HWDEC in vd_lavc would always succeed, but in
reality it shouldn't. It takes some time before we actually know what
the hwdec is and if you query during that time, you'll could get some
bogus value (e.g. during hwdec auto probing). So fix that by returning
false in vd_lavc if hwdec_notified isn't there yet and adjust the
wrapper control logic to take this into account.
Need to shuffle some stuff around but it's pretty simple. Mute the
audio stream before the frame step and then unmute it when we're done.
It's exactly the same as the default play mode otherwise.
The big option callback in player/command will trigger on every single
update. This is not so great when several heavy option changes are
called in rapid succession and operations are pointlessly repeated. Try
to copy the approach that input commands do and run the actual callbacks
during the playloop. This is not really a smart or sophisticated
mechanism. It also only works for the main option cache. In theory,
other option caches like vo_opts could get spammed too and this makes no
attempt on those. But regardless, this is probably good enough for us.
mp_option_change_callback now tries to group together any new callbacks
with existing unprocessed ones and drop redundant ones whenever
something new arrives.
For some reason, mp_option_change_callback had weird special logic on
init to start the ipc client. This makes no sense. It should just be
started in mp_initialize like all the other clients.
This is not only cosmetic, but also avoids dummy get key action with
empty key. While this was allowed previously, I'm bit concerned about
Hyrum's law. But let's be strict about it.
This commit fixes current-tracks property.
